- Introduction
Laeveld Agrochem (“Laeveld Agrochem”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the official supplier of tickets for the Afrikaans is 100 GROOT! event. Tickets are sold exclusively via WowBuy, an e-commerce store.
By purchasing a ticket from WowBuy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms govern all ticket purchases for this event.
- Agreement to Terms
2.1. Purchasing tickets constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
2.2. This is a family-friendly event; however, WowBuy is not targeted at persons under 13 years of age. Minors must only purchase tickets with the assistance of a parent or legal guardian.
- Changes to Terms & Conditions
3.1. We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
3.2. The version of the Terms & Conditions in effect on the date of the event will apply to all attendees, regardless of the version in place at the time of purchase.
- Code of Conduct
4.1. All attendees must conduct themselves lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
Harassment, threats, or disruptive conduct;
Illegal activity of any kind;
Damage to venue property;
Attempting to enter with duplicate, fraudulent, or unauthorised tickets.
4.2. The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person in breach of these rules, without refund.
- Seating Arrangements
5.1. All seating is assigned automatically by our ticketing system at the time of purchase.
5.2. We do not guarantee that tickets purchased in the same transaction will result in seats being together, adjacent, or in the same seating block.
5.3. Seating allocation is at the sole discretion of the organiser and is final once issued. No seating changes will be made after ticket issuance for any reason, including personal preference, group arrangements, or accessibility requirements.
5.4. The organiser reserves the right to adjust seating arrangements prior to the event without notice.
- Ticket Sales, Fees & Refunds
6.1. All ticket sales are final — no refunds, exchanges, or returns will be issued except where strictly required by the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).
6.2. In the event of postponement, all tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. No refunds will be issued for inability to attend the new date, except where expressly required by law.
6.3. In the event of cancellation, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded. All service, handling, delivery, and payment processing fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
6.4. Ticket prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Ticket Delivery & Responsibility
7.1. Tickets will be delivered in the format specified at purchase (e.g., PDF via email).
7.2. Only the first valid scan of a ticket barcode will be admitted. Any subsequent scans of the same barcode will be denied entry.
7.3. Ticket holders are solely responsible for safeguarding their tickets and barcodes. The organiser will not reissue or refund tickets lost, stolen, duplicated, damaged, or shared without authorisation.
- Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation
8.1. The organiser reserves the right to alter event details, including date, time, programme, venue, or seating arrangements, without notice.
8.2. In the case of postponement, all tickets will remain valid for the new date and no refunds will be issued except where required by law.
8.3. In the case of cancellation, refunds will be processed in accordance with clause 6.3.
- Force Majeure
The organiser shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, load shedding, technical failures, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such circumstances, the organiser may reschedule the event without offering refunds.
- Liability Disclaimer
10.1. Attendance is at your own risk.
10.2. The organiser’s liability is limited to proven gross negligence directly attributable to the organiser.
10.3. No liability will be accepted for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses or damages.
10.4. The organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
- Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
11.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
11.2. All disputes must first be referred to mediation in Pretoria, South Africa, at the ticket holder’s own expense, before any legal proceedings may be initiated.
11.3. The courts of Pretoria shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
